I’ve always answered to more than one name, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Each one tells a part of my story — who I am to my family, my friends, and this little corner of the internet. Around here, I’m Mama, I’m D, and I’m Cocoa… and all three matter just as much.

The name that means the most to me. I’m Mama to a wild, wonderful crew who keep my days full of laughter, love, and just enough chaos to remind me life is never boring. Motherhood has shaped me, stretched me, and given me a heart bigger than I ever thought possible. It’s where my story begins and where I always return.

To the ones who’ve known me longest, I’m simply D. It’s the name that feels like home, the one my siblings, and lifelong friends use. D is the down-to-earth version of me: loyal, a little sassy, a shoulder to lean on, and always ready to laugh until it hurts.
✨ Cocoa
Cocoa is the creative, business-minded side of me. She’s tech-savvy, full of ideas, and loves words, whether it’s writing a blog, naming a candle, or crafting a story that makes people laugh or cry. As Cocoa, I’m the wit and the business brain behind Copper & Cocoa, blending Southern charm, humor, and a little sparkle into everything we do.
All together, these names are the real me. Mama is my heart. D is my roots. Cocoa is my spark. When you put them together, you get the full picture: a woman who loves her family fiercely, finds joy in gardening, daylilies, cooking, and storytelling, and believes in keeping life honest, funny, and faith-filled.
